Meet the SPORTIFY Night headline DJ

NOVA KANE on building a set that starts where the finish line ends, and why tempo is a form of endurance.

NOVA KANE has spent five years turning warehouses into engines. Her sets are built like a race: a controlled first half, a surge somewhere near the middle, and a final block that leaves nothing behind.

"A crowd is a body," she says. "You have to warm it up, load it, and then let it go. If you go too hard at 23:15 you have nothing at 02:00."

Her set closes the Wednesday of the festival week, on the same day thousands of runners collect their race numbers.

Did the 21K last year and this read brought the whole thing back. That last kilometre under the yellow arch is unreal.

Anyone else pairing the morning social run with the afternoon recovery circuit? Best combo of the week, my legs said thank you.

The sprint lab data was the highlight for me. Walked out with my own gait model and instantly changed how I warm up.

New to SPORTIFY this year — is the Friday night set beginner friendly or should I start with the rooftop sundown?
