The future of wearable sports technology

The future of wearable sports technology

Sensors are getting smaller, cheaper and far more accurate. The real question is what we should be measuring at all.

The next generation of wearables will not be worn on the wrist. Textile sensors, patches and in-shoe units are moving measurement closer to the movement itself.

More signal is not automatically more insight. The teams doing this well are ruthless about which metrics reach the athlete.

Test the current generation yourself at the Innovation Hall, where every device on show can be tried during a live session.

Anyone else pairing the morning social run with the afternoon recovery circuit? Best combo of the week, my legs said thank you.

The sprint lab data was the highlight for me. Walked out with my own gait model and instantly changed how I warm up.
