Course guide: the SPORTIFY Half Marathon, kilometre by kilometre

Where to save energy, where the crowds are loudest, and the one climb that decides the last five kilometres.
The half marathon leaves the docks at sunrise, cuts through the old freight district and returns along the river for a final straight that is far longer than it looks on the map.
Kilometre 13 is the moment of truth: a 900-metre ramp out of the tunnel with no shade and no crowd. Run it two seconds per kilometre slower than target and you will win the time back before kilometre 18.
The loudest support is between kilometre 8 and 9, where the neighbourhood sound systems line both sides of the street.

Did the 21K last year and this read brought the whole thing back. That last kilometre under the yellow arch is unreal.

Anyone else pairing the morning social run with the afternoon recovery circuit? Best combo of the week, my legs said thank you.

The sprint lab data was the highlight for me. Walked out with my own gait model and instantly changed how I warm up.

New to SPORTIFY this year — is the Friday night set beginner friendly or should I start with the rooftop sundown?
